UNESCO-IISNC

In collaboration of the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations under the auspices of UNESCO (IISNC) and the LMU Munich (University of Munich), has published the seventh volume in the series “The Societies and Cultures of the Nomads” in Cyrillic. Dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous Jangar epic storyteller Juunai, this volume features the work titled “Tirjee torgain zulzagan, serjee bogshirgiin tuuj orshvoi” [The tale of tirjee the lark’s chick and serjee the sparrow]. The work was transcribed into modern Mongolian by O.Taivan and professor D.Urnukhdelger.
