From ancient migration routes and rock engravings to the climate pressures reshaping pastoral life today, this exhibition follows Mongolian and Italian herders across millennia of shared history—tracing a deep bond between people, animals and land that endures even as it is tested by a changing world, and asking what pastoralism can still teach us about living well within it.
