We are pleased to announce that the Cambridge Mongolia Forum II, in collaboration with the Mongolia and Inner Asian Studies Unit (MIASU) of the University of Cambridge, will take place in Ulaanbaatar on August 19-20, 2024. The forum will be held as part of the “Nomadic” World Culture Festival. The second biennial forum, themed “World Problem, Nomad Solution,” aims to foster engaging and insightful discussions on how nomadic traditions can address contemporary global challenges.This forum, which began in London in 2022, was jointly initiated by MIASU of the University of Cambridge and the Embassy of Mongolia in the UK to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.The Cambridge Mongolia Forum II is jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia, MIASU of the University of Cambridge, the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations under UNESCO, the Institute of Mongolian Studies at the National University of Mongolia, the Chinggis Khaan Heritage and Cultural Institute, City University, and the National Art Gallery of Mongolia.
