The International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations, under the auspices of UNESCO, successfully organized the opening ceremony of the ‘Knowledge Hub’ on April 24, 2025. This center is envisioned as a significant platform for academic research and training that aligns with international standards.
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. D. Bum-Ochir, Member of Parliament and Chair of the Academic Council of the Institute; Mr. B. Davaatsren, Head of the Cultural Heritage Policy and Coordination Department at the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth; Her Excellency Başak Genç Yüksel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Mongolia; Dr. Ümit Naci Yorulmaz, Vice President of TİKA; Dr. Ali Özgün Öztürk, Head of the Department for Central Asia and the Caucasus at TİKA; Mr. S.Zulphar, Chair of the Mongolia–Türkiye Parliamentary Group in the State Great Khural; Mr. Ali Muslu, TİKA’s Program Coordinator in Ulaanbaatar; and Mrs. A. Uyanga, Head of the Nomadic Knowledge ‘Inj’ Center. Esteemed academics and researchers from the National University of Mongolia were also in attendance.
