🇲🇳 Within the framework of the Cultural Creativity Month campaign, collaborating with the Visual Anthropology Club, IISNC is proud to present the documentary film “Fire Worship Ritual”.

In 2017, anthropologists G. Zulbaatar and P.Dorjaraa conducted field research in Khovogsair, Xinjiang (China) and produced this documentary exploring the ritual of fire worship. The film delves into the sacred traditions of the Torguud Mongols of Khovogsair, revealing the profound meanings of purity, heritage, and spiritual connection with ancestors embodied in their relationship with fire.

This film has never before been screened publicly, making this occasion a remarkable event that revisits the cultural dimensions of fire worship through an anthropological lens.
