Successful International Conference on Nomadic Heritage concludes in Ulaanbaatar
On August 20, 2025, the international academic conference, “World of Nomads: History, Heritage, Culture” was organised successfully. This conference was a highlight of the “Nomads World Cultural Festival“, dedicated to the study and preservation of nomadic heritage.
The conference provided a platform for 11 researchers from Mongolia, United Kingdom, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation-Buryatia, and Federal Republic of Germany to share their expertise. Discussions focused on the economy, culture, history and traditions of nomads.
The conference was organised through the collaborative efforts of several organisations, including the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, the Government Implementing Agency-Department of Culture and Arts, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, the Institute of Chinggis Khaan Heritage and Culture, Administration of Great Burkhan Khaldun Mountain and its surrounding sacred landscape and IISNC.
