The International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations (IISNC) under the auspices of UNESCO is inviting applications for Conference Internships supporting the international conference:
Nomadic Futures: Cultural Rights, Knowledge Systems, Climate Resilience
📍 Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
📅 Conference: 19-21 August 2026
📅 Internship: 20 July -1 September 2026
This international conference will convene scholars, policymakers, Indigenous representatives, practitioners, and development partners to explore the intersections of cultural rights, knowledge systems, and climate resilience. Held alongside COP17 to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and the United Nations International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP), it provides a unique platform for global dialogue and knowledge exchange.
