An international academic conference on “Integration of Nomads and Sedentary Societies in Inner Asian History” is being held in Kharkhorum, Mongolia from June 30 to July 1, 2025.
Scholars from Mongolia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan are participating, discussing history, archaeology, cultural heritage, and the value of nomadic civilizations.
The conference is a collaborative effort by Istanbul University, National University of Mongolia, Turkish Language Association, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Istanbul Aydin University, Turksoy, Ilterish Foundation, the Kharkhorum City Council and Administration and the IISNC. This conference is contributing to research and disseminate the history and cultural heritage of Inner Asia, as well as strengthening international scholarly cooperation.
