A meeting of the Academic Council was convened

Academic Council of the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations under the auspices of UNESCO was convened on June 21, 2023. During the meeting, the institute’s activities for the years 2022 and 2023 were reviewed and discussed. The Director, Ch. Munkhtul presented the planned projects for the upcoming years, and the approval of the editorial board for the institute’s publications was also addressed.

The Academic Council Chair, D. Bum-Ochir, presided over the meeting, which was attended by esteemed members, including Honorary Professor Dawn Chatty from the University of Oxford, Professor David Sneat from the University of Cambridge, Professor Peter Finke from the University of Zurich, Professor Kurshat Yıldırım from Istanbul University, and Professor Gregory Delaplace from the École Pratique des Hautes Études.

During the meeting, the members of the academic council expressed high appreciation for the institute’s activities and provided valuable insights and advice on future research work and potential projects.
